Duration and Location of UIDAI Internship

Duration

The duration of the internship will be at least six weeks long and can extend up to 12 months. Certificates of completion are available only to interns who work for the entire period.

Location

A mentor-in-charge qualified for this task will supervise interns deployed at UIDAI Headquarters in New Delhi, the Technology Center at Bengaluru in regional offices, or distributed at remote locations.

Eligibility Criteria of UIDAI Internship

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.  
  • The applicant must be a bonafide student at a recognized university or institution in India or abroad.  
  • The applicant must meet ONE of the following criteria:  
  • The applicant should be in the 3rd or 4th year (final or pre-final) of a B.Tech or BE course and has earned at least 60% marks (GPA average of 6.0) in all previous semester exams.  
  • The applicant should be a graduate student who has completed or taken the term-end exams of their 1st year/2nd semester of a postgraduate program or is pursuing research or a PhD and has scored at least 60% or equivalent marks in graduation.  
  • Students who have just completed their graduation or postgraduate and are waiting for admission to higher studies or a job can apply for the internship if they meet the following conditions:  
  • They have an overall score of 60% or more in all years/semesters of their graduation or post-graduation up to the date of application.  
  • No more than six months should pass between the declaration of the final exam result and the start month of the internship.
