- To apply for the Rythu Bandhu Scheme, the farmers must contact their MRO(Mandal Revenue Officer) or Agriculture Extension Officer.
- Provide details like land ownership details and bank account information.
- The MRO will enter all the details in the Rythu Bima portal, and Dharani land records will be used to verify the farmers’ land records.
- The applicant receives their username and password after all verification is complete.

Rythu Bandhu Scheme Amount per Acre
For small and marginal farmers who receive benefits under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme, the Telangana government has set aside a specific sum of Rs. 5,000 per acre per season(Rs. 10,000 annually). There are two agricultural seasons for crops- Rabi and Kharif Seasons, so a total amount of Rs. 10,000 was provided to the eligible farmers annually through the mode of cheque under this scheme. But according to the latest update in the scheme, now farmers will get Rs. 6000 per acre per season or 12000 annually.
